This post is in english, because it should reach as many as possible. I have watched Sita sings the Blues a few years ago and completely fell in love with it. The ideas, the drawings, the music, the symbolism, the whit and the pure beauty left me at awe. Today I just wanted to post a link to the video but found loads of very important information on Nina Paley’s website about the handling of copyright nowadays. It already is a big topic and it will be huge in the future. I admire how she is giving her movie away to what she calls the shared culture. Since copying is an act of love I am returning some by buying THIS beautiful print and a few booklets about Intellectual Pooperty which I will spread among you.
